8K? Damn, guess Scorpio is obsolete already.

TRU3_GAM3R595d ago (Edited 595d ago )

what about ps4 pro 4k upscale ? At least games will look perform better on Scorpio

Iras_594d ago

PS4 at least has some exclusive games.

esmittystud101594d ago

What games? What exclusives? We are going to buy a Scorpio for multiplats?

They really have brainwashed there players. They don't even care about games anymore. All the see is 4K.............with zero new exclusives and they don't even care or complain.

demonddel594d ago (Edited 594d ago )

@esmitty what fans you speak of because I rarely see xbox fans bragging everywhere I go on any site all bragging being extra dramatic goes to the other camp

TKCMuzzer594d ago

Well, games like Horizon, God Of War, Days Gone, The Last Of Us, Uncharted, The Last Guardian etc will always look and play better on the PS4 Pro and thats a fact.
Plus, they won't necessarily perform better, that's less of hardware issue, more of a dev issue. Remember, you can't have a Scorpio game targeting 60FPS if the Xbox One version can only target 30. That would mean Microsoft would be screwing over their core Xbox One base...........oh hold on, yeah they probably will then.

MagicBeanz594d ago

Well since PS4 Pro never claimed to be true 4k like Scorpio does the bigger disappointment would naturally be Scorpio but sure both are objectively obsolete if it makes you feel better.

Magic beans needed if you think you can afford an 8k rig.

MagicBeanz594d ago

Well you dont know what I can afford so your comment is pointless, and beyond that the price of tech always comes down so before you know it more people will be able to afford something that can easily out class Scorpio in terms of power.

343_Guilty_Spark594d ago

Then the Pro is super obsolete.

MagicBeanz594d ago

Well the Pro has the benefit of actual exclusives but yes as it pertains to the 4k aspect sure, feel better?

wannabe gamer594d ago

yes its obsolete cause a tech that no one can afford is out there. very good observation

MagicBeanz592d ago

Wasn't really serious but you xbox guy sure seem to get salty about anything these days, you should get a sense of humor you'll enjoy life a lot more.

8k> Scorpio /s, just kidding no not really. Next gen is starting though.

annoyedgamer594d ago (Edited 594d ago )

I see a dead end with simply counting pixels, something else is going to have to come to the table like VR.

KaoSouL594d ago

Being a VR owner, I don't ever see them being mainstream in their current form. They need to drop the wires and become an all in one device (VR with the gaming console built directly into the headset). Right now they're clumsy at best, and once that "magic" you felt experience a VR world for the first time wears off, you realize good games with more that 2-3 hours of content are few and far between.

UltraNova594d ago

What about the cost, weight and heat issues? Nah VR needs to be 4K wireless and it will be fine.

annoyedgamer594d ago

You can stream the content from a PC, like games on demand over a local network to bypass that issue. But I agree with the games, taking a low quality game and playing it at 4K or 8K is just a really sharp bad game. Games like Stalker, Metro and The Witcher are where its at.

RonsonPL594d ago (Edited 594d ago )

16x more pixels on one single-GPU card and still 30fps in FH3, like on a console that's currently shaping the game design for all the plaforms. Nothing to complain about...
