Hopefully he decide to make The Last Story 2. Having this released after Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pokemon Diamond & Pearl HD Remake and Fire Emblem 2018 for Switch would be a great way to increase Nintendo JRPG lineup.

Pokemon Diamond & Pearl HD Remake ???is this real?

nothing set in stone, the only thing to go by would be the add that gamefreak put for hiring, it said they need people with experience in creating cartoon characters and whatnot for a popular rpg series that they can't talk about(which pretty much means pokemon since they don't have another big rpg series), experience on the vita system and something else.

Last Story was awesome. It's a shame no one played it :/

At the time it came out in the US it was Xseeds most successful game and Mistwalker made money on it. Tho yeah sadly lived up to it's name. Not seen a console game from him since.

@ 6:11 When Takehiko Inoue was mentioned in the same sentence as "thousand year memories", did anyone get the vibe that the artist should have also done the illustrations to the stories as well? that would have been major publicity homage to the manga artist. It just hit me like a stack of bricks, I can't see how Hironobu didn't think of this!!! Such a lost opportunity, his art is so good!!!
Somebody should tell him about it. maybe as a patch for the XB1 copy, or for a remake.

Port The Last Story HD to the Switch, and turn the TLS into a triennial franchise.
