Getting all the loots and items in Overwatch might cost players more than $1000. More details here.
The world could always use a few more heroes, or in this case friends. Here are some Overwatch Heroes you would want to hang out with.
Blizzard's blending of the FPS and MOBA was a masterpiece of design that met its end too soon.
I miss 6v6, lootboxes and an actual player level. I used to look forward to Junkenstein's Revenge at Halloween and the Christmas event cause of all the cool cosmetics you could earn. I'd play it every day. Now you play it for an hour, earn some stupid charm, and you're done. No reason to play anymore.
I remember those epic dreamworks-like CGIs. I wasn't a fan at all but man, I knew it was a rediculously huge game. OW2 I've seen...nothing, died maybe after a week.
OW2 is a disaster. All these years to make the game 5v5….? And they scrapped PvE? The game just sucks man zero fun.
Activision has admitted that its Call of Duty and Overwatch eSport Leagues are facing challenges that the company might fail to address.
Ha ha these have been in trouble fort awhile so now we talk about it/address it?
How about you explain why you make billions but always have layoff's.
A lot of people here couldn't even read the headline. This isn't about the games themselves, it's about the esports leagues.
OverWatch is definitely addictive expecially the skins myself and my buddy both spent about $200 each on it. What is funny is my eight-year-old he told me I'm wasting money and I should stop and I did. It's almost like a gambling addiction
I have friends who have spent $200+ on stuff like this and it's a waste of money.
This is why more and more developers have been adding a 'pay-for-loot crates' system. Personally speaking, I don't like it at all; I miss the days where you unlocked skins/characters and show those off as an accomplishment. Now, it's basically down to luck and money.
And yes, it's a way for developers to make more money to support the game; however, with loot crates, DLC, season passes, pre-order bonuses, microtransactions(though most are macrotransactions honestly), and characters/maps locked behind a paywall, I personally can't support it.
This is the main reason why modern gaming isn't as fun as gaming in the past.
Well, no, that's how much they COULD spend, not how much they will. Most people will never spend a dime after they buy the game. Most of the ones who do won't spend nearly that much. Stupid headline.
After hitting around rank 230 I quit playing for a while, played all of 5 minutes when season 3 was around. Never once was I compelled to buy a loot box. What's sad is going to the blizzard overwatch forums and seeing people actually justify spending $50 on loot boxes, like they truly believe they're purchasing it for the greater good, meaning they're guaranteeing support of overwatch
except for the fact that overwatch has made enough regardless of microtransactions to support us for years...
