Mirror's Edge has the potential to sell over 3 million

DICE marketing director Martin Frain has revealed that the internal sales target for the highly anticipated Mirror's Edge is three million units worldwide, a figure he feels could easily be topped.

"I would look for worldwide sales of over three million, on three platforms," Frain told Edge. "I think it has the potential to do a lot more than that."

On that many systems it damn sure better. I won't be getting this, though cause it looks like junk bunk chicken cox if you ask me. I hate lame games and this fits the mold.

Any game technically has the "potential" to sell X amount of copies. If it turns out good and with it being multiplat I have no doubt Mirror's Edge can reach 3 million.

Good marketing campaign can work wonders to, Mc.Halo for example.

and the game releasing on a MS platform, I'm sure we will get to see these ads on every channel every hour. I'm not really all that interested in the game myself, but there is plenty of time before launch for them to convince me. I'll buy the PS3 version if I do get a copy.

They're releasing a demo so hopefully it impresses me. I've been watching it for a long time and I'm hoping it matches my hopes.
