Scalpers are seriously the worst.

Also, game is still available on Best Buy for those looking for it.

Scalpers are bad...but let's not act like Nintendo causes this on purpose. They treat they're fans horribly by always under producing for Demand. They want to make it look like there products are high sought items...which they are when you clearly don't make enough.. Point some of that finger at Nintendo when we talk about Scalpers

Phil322587d ago

Nintendo didn't publish Binding, so why are you trying to blame Nintendo for under producing a game that they have nothing to do with? Looking for another avenue to vent about Nintendo in an unrelated news article? Pretty pathetic, bro.

princejb1342587d ago

how do you know they under re-produce? you have no proof. I'm not a nintendo fan but maybe their building based on how much they can put out. i rather have a working system than they rushing to put them out causing many to fail

Yeah, Best Buy was where I found my copy. :)

Dabigsiebowski2587d ago

@Phil...Dude I bought a Switch. Are you serious right now? It's a known fact Nintendo is really bad for this. Amiibos, NES Classic, Smash GC Controller Adapter for Wii U....Yeah Nintendo creates this stuff themselves is what I am saying, and frankly it doesn't surprise me it leaks on to third parties especially this early of launch.

Why don't you learn to not be such a fanboy and take it for what it is. I love my Switch FYI

Yet another reason to just buy from the eshop.

Physical > Digital all day long. Luckily I pre-ordered mine. It's a great game worth all of $40

JEECE2587d ago

Digital is so much better for a portable like switch or Vita. I don't want to have to carry around a bunch of cartridges like it's 1997- I want all my games installed. It's really too bad Nintendo didn't just eliminate physical media completely and include 128gb or more flash memory in the unit itself.

Chances are if your getting a Switch with the intent of taking it around you'll be buying one of those $10-$15 cases, they have like 10 or 15 slots in them to hold the cards, if you want digital you can use your own sd cards, they're cheap.

Testfire2587d ago

@Jeece, yeah, cause I don't know how I would manage to carry around those bulky Switch carts lol.

nitus102587d ago (Edited 2587d ago )

Yes and no. If you download a game to your internal storage (approx 25GB max) then you could run out of storage with just a few games but you will find that the loading times of games from the internal storage is much faster than even the cartridge. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

From the video, tests were carried out against cartridge, high-performance SD cards, and internal storage. While internal storage got the best read speeds (ie. loading) the high-quality SD cards were better than the cartridges. Obviously, if you purchased a cheap SD card your performance will be much worse.

Even 40 is too much considering it was a plus game on PS and on sales everywhere for PC.
This and Bomberman look overpriced to me.

superchiller2587d ago

Yeah, the most they should have charged for it was $19.99, anything above that is just a ripoff.

V0LT2587d ago (Edited 2587d ago )

Maybe?

davand1142587d ago

The games costs $36 everywhere why does the switch version need to be $15 cheaper?

davand1142587d ago

The games costs $36 on steam. Why does the physical version for the switch have to cost less?

nitus102587d ago

On PSN (Australia) The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is $22.95AUD (no discounts) which is ($17.71 USD) and is only 500MB in size

davand1142586d ago

@nitus
Afterbirth+ is the one with all the content. Rebirth is cheaper everywhere.

higgins782587d ago

This is Afterbirth+, look, you'll find it was never available on PS+.

Try (trolling) harder.
