One Zelda player was surprised to find that the worst possible hiccup can happen while trying to save Hyrule. (SPOILERS AHEAD.)
Lol, that absolutely sucks.
Not sure if this is a spoiler but if it is why was it overlooked by the mods?
Blood Moon isn't really story related. The first time it happens is rather "scary" though.
Still would have enjoyed the surprise but now I'm expecting it. Oh well. Internet...
That bloodmoon cutscene is really irritating, hope they patch that out.
You can skip it everytime it happens.
Yes, you can, however the cutscene still has to load and it can interrupt you in the middle of something, which can be annoying. Not a game-breaking issue by any means, but now that he mentions it it would be kind of nice if you could turn of the cutscene. I don't think that's possible though, since the enemies reset and there's a short load time (it probably loads in the background a bit during the cutscene, too).
Why is this news?
Because it is Kotaku.
I'd prefer to just have a sound/chime to tell me that everyone has respawned rather than dealing with this tedious cutscene everytime.
Even though you can skip it, there's still a bit of time before you can do that.
Isn't this spoiler?
Ohh but its a 10/10 game.
I would say that's a pretty significant flaw.
That a Blood Moon can happen at any time, take you to a long loading screen & bring you completely out of a boss battle.
"Zelda: Breath of the Wild Player" lol
Thats part of the deal.. The game isnt easy for new comers
Final boss is a joke anyway. You can beat it one handed.
My god! There's so much spam in the comments!
Aww man, that's the worst time for that to kick in. He isn't a fun boss, and can be a pain at times. But if you just play the defensive role, you can get through it fairly easy.
Fire sword swing is easily countered.
