Ty Muddle at Squish Turtle writes: "Nintendo raised eyebrow rings across the gaming press when it announced just two of only eight Nintendo Switch games would be published by the console manufacturer,
"Many were quick to lament the decision, spewing adjectives like “paltry” and “questionable” onto the internet in rapid succession."
"The Gateshead-based (the UK) indie games publisher Coatsink and Canada-based indie games developer Bunnyhug, are today very happy and proud to announce that their fishing RPG “Moonglow Bay”, is coming to Playstation (PS5 and PS4) and the Nintendo Switch via digital stores on April 11th, 2024" - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection does the bare minimum for two multiplayer classics, at a price point too steep to justify.
Today Billy Basso and Bigmode Games announced a release date for Animal Well on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and it's quite soon.
It seems like it's become a thing to hate on console that have small launch line ups considering that in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's all we had were small launch line ups. People seem to want 20+ titles day one when realistically, they won't be able to play them all day 1.
I've been saying this for the longest. But of course people don't want to look at the facts.
Agree with many of the sentiments here already. Personally, I think it's hard to argue with a AAA title like Zelda, hardware demo like 1 2 Switch and a throwback title like Bomberman. Heck, Zelda alone is the equivalent of SMW or M64, and I don't remember any complaining with these launch titles. Besides, how many games can you play at any one time? More besides, GUARANTEED those complaining own at least one more console with whatever games are available for that. Brats.
The definitive portable version BOTW will do fine for me!!! I've got a Wiiu but I sure won't be buying it on that..
