No More Heroes Nintendo Switch not Releasing in 2017

Suda51 has confirmed that the next No More Heroes game, announced during the Nintendo Switch reveal event last month, is not expected to launch this year.

In a recent interview with 4Gamer, the game’s director mentioned that although 2017 marks the ten-year anniversary of the original No More Heroes on the Wii, the new title simply will not be ready in time to coincide with this event. Indeed, the game is in the earliest stages of active development, with Suda saying that the overall vision has been decided upon, but the scenario writing is yet to take place.

The story is too old to be commented.

Does that really even need to be said? Suda announced a game, with no title, and all he had to show was a sketch of Travis. It was never coming out this year.

And I honestly don't think it's a NMH game. Suda has said he's bringing back Travis in a new game, but he's never mentioned anything about NMH itself. My guess is a new IP in the same universe, with Travis as the main character.
