Free Radical asking fans where they want TimeSplitters 4

TimeSplitters 4 could truly end up on any console. The previous TimeSplitters title ended up on the Xbox, PS2, and GameCube, so it is more than likely that Free Radical will follow up with a 360, PS3, and Wii release for TimeSplitters 4. However, Free Radical wants to know what the fans are interested in - A poll is up and running on the company's website and is asking which console people wish to play the next TimeSplitters game on. As of the time of writing, the Wii is leading the poll with 65% while the PS3 and 360 are trailing with about 15% each...

PS3 fans get in there and vote now!

PS3 and 360 fans get in there and vote now.

Anything but Wii.

Homicide3375d ago

Come on people. Don't vote for Wii!!!!

SullyDrake3375d ago (Edited 3375d ago )

Which would be the PS3.

Timesplitters 4 deserves the space of Blu-Ray and the power of the Cell.

PS360 FTW, bring TS4 to Next-Gen Radical.

It should be a PS3 exclusive. Multiplatform sucks. If it's an exclusive chances it will be a game that scores a 9. Multiplatform it's gonna be a 7.

Exclusive for PS3 makes it better for anyone. I mean if it's not exclusive for PS3 I hope it's exclusive for 360 because if I ever bought a 360 I would know that I have a great game to play. Only one multiplatform shooter is good and that is COD4 and everything else is average trash.

Making it exclusive would give them a chance to redeem them selves for the PS3 user. But, I guess it depends on whos publishing.

Free Radical did their last game on the Playstation 3, so it seems like the obvious choice would be PS3 off the bat. But, obviously they don't know how to utilize the PS3 because HAZE wasn't close to what it should have been.

TimeSplitters 4 on the Wii is the most dumbest thing I've ever heard....TimeSplitters 4 on the Wii would most likely totally flop in sales it wouldn't even be funny.

They should bring it out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC or just make it a PS3 exclusive since they just finished up with a PS3 exclusive.

... Aside from your grammar.

LethalToxins3374d ago

That. Was. Hilarious!

Quick and witty. Short and to the point. I now feel you get one for that.

I just want the game to be exactly like Haze. Lawlz I'm joking too much!

Gr813375d ago

good timesplitters games was the 1st one..Didn't FR do Haze on PS3? I doubt they wanna go down that road again. What's with all the "don't bring it to Wii posts?" Speaking of next gen, who'd wanna play a game like TS without the Wii control scheme?

ELite_Ghost3375d ago

they were all good, 1 had good story, 2 had pwnage 4 player splitscreen, 3 had online splitscreen! 4 will be on ps3!

monkey6023375d ago

my opinion is the complete opposite. The first Timesplitters was the only bad one to me.

Also I dont want this one a Wii only game. The game would suffer. Online play would be a shambles and there is a huge prospect for that one the other consoles. Not to mention the Timesplitters main draw was the amount of content like characters, maps, arcade missions and so on. I dont think the Wii can provide that.

vashivihang3375d ago

let it come to all consoles including wii.

funny how ps3 fans wanted monster hunter 3 to come out on both ps3 and wi but no timesplitters 4 eh?

This time theres a chance that they wouldn't even waist their time on the Wii, and just do the next gen consoles. We have to remember the this is Free Radical, they've had good relations with Sony in the past. Plus, MH is from Copcom, they're like EA used to be making as much money as possible with as little effort as possible. MH on PS3 would be gigantic, on the Wii it's just a little bit less work. Less work = higher profit margin.
