The Nintendo Switch has me worried, but for reasons, you may not expect. Yes, the price point is quite high. The lack of launch titles does raise an eyebrow, as does the return of gimmicky party games. But, above all else, the high entry price for its fighting games both concerns and confuses me.
As an iconic handheld device, the Game Boy Color was packed with fantastic platformer games that covered numerous sub-genres while providing a genuine experience.
From the Supervision to the Steam Deck, the vast history of handheld console gaming is always worth celebrating.
A modded PSP is awesome, I used to play games like the original Marvel vs Capcom and even the original Doom on it.
Epic Games winning its cases against both Apple and Google is shaping the way forward for the future of mobile gaming.
I feel alot of mobile gamers are kids which will at some point probably turn to console or pc. Mobile gaming just doesn't cut it for me.
just NO.......independantly if SFV sucks, fighter genre must evolve ...and Switch CANNT do that with its underpowered system ... already Nintendo (and idiots in capcom) wasted for nothing a super IP --Monster Hunter --keeping it stale even downgrading it ot play on 3DS
I'll buy Street Fighter 2, but only after i have a pro pad. The joy Con looks awful for fighters
Lol .... Wtf
Given that the default controller does not have a proper d-pad which is essential for fighting games I'll say no
The Switch stands literally 0 chance of dethroning PS in that regard. Home of the brawlers because of Smash for sure but literally every major fighting game franchise has a bigger fanbase on PS.
