A ton of high level staff has joined the new Kojima Productions.
Kojima be like ah sweet Revenge!!
I am wondering if KJP grows bigger than Konami Digital Entertainment one day. I know this is a dream but you never know.
I can see them getting huge. But I can also see them not being able to meet deadlines and contain the scope of the game they want to make. I am leaning to them getting huge but I can't say I would be surprised if it went the other way.
It's no dream!
In gaming development, they probably could be. Konami has proven they don't care about their gaming front, Konami Digital Entertainment. All they care about is their pachinko slots. Quick and easy money.
Well I'm sure he has some loyalists in konami who wouldn't think twice to work with him again. Can't wait for death stranding
Well, he's got some top talent from Konami. Technical director of Fox engine, level designer of MGS5...that is some amazing people there now.
Fox Engine had some impressive graphics in both MGSV and PES. Great addition to his new team.
This article reads like a dream come true.
Wish someone would Fulton my ass out of work...
I knew you could do it
As an outsider...this whole thing has been fascinating to watch.
How great it would be to be standing in Kojima's shoes right now. It's like a huge, but "silent", "f*** you" to his past employers. Shows those suits who is loyal and how much Kojima means to some. So awesome! I'd love to be in that position as I've wanted to do that many times myself
what is fultoning?
It's a term from MGSV, you attach a balloon to extract the target to your base, basically the same think Kojima does with the top talent at Konami.
Just like Respawn, cool!
Akio Sakamoto should be a great addition to the team, I'm sure if he is the brains begind Fox engine, he will have a great time collaborating with Guerilla to make their engine even better, great for both studios.
Of course they would go to be free from Konamis practices
No matter what Konami tries to do to combat this, Koijima Productions will continue on its legacy.
What's a Konami?
Everything is falling into place
Great! .. Now, about the game formerly known as Silent Hills..
I just spotted a balloon above the Kojima offices.
I'm happy he's bringing in people from Konami. It makes sense especially with how Konami was treating their employees in recent years. Here's hoping he can get more people to go over.
When life imitates art that imitated life
"Fultoning"? That's not a thing.
That's what they call the extraction device in MGS. Believe it or not, it actually was a thing used be the CIA.
May become bigger than konami with in gaming but not as a whole company, not unless KJP starts doing pachinco machine's or whatever they are called.
