Resident Evil 7 biohazard - What we want from Capcom’s biggest I.P.

Carlos writes "So, we’re finally here - the start of the new year and one of the biggest releases is already just around the corner. But with Resident Evil 7 just a few short weeks away, a look back past the cryptic messages that have been sent our way via the internet, and of course the incredibly tense and fear mongering beginning hour demo, shows that a lot of the game’s secrets are still under wraps.

We may not have much to go on about what we can definitely expect from Capcom’s best-selling series this time around, but here’s some of the things we want to see from Resident Evil 7 biohazard."

I just want the return of horror. And it looks like they are finally delivering on that promise. I can't wait.. less than 2 weeks now!

I remember playing the original Resi years ago. I then left the series until the recent Revelation 2 episodic thing on Xbox One. I was very impressed with that and now have huge interest in RE7. As long as the horror is right, then I'll be happy.

Coming from someone with EAP's picture as their avatar.... tsk tsk.....

hahaha :D you're right, shame on me. I even write that stuff myself but that does not change the fact that it's very different when you're really in the game. First time i walked down into the basement and encountered that thing... damn it was a hole new experience.
That said i love the new/old resident evil approach. Can't wait to play trough the hole game and challenge my heart and stomach :D

I'm really looking forward to this game's return to horror and puzzles. I'm a fan of the first person perspective as well but probably too scared to play it in vr...

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.
