Sony's Shuhei Yoshida teases "a great number of still unannounced titles".
Please, stop! My poor wallet...
@ Overload hahah what Yoshida is doing in that gif ??? i ve never seen that @Overload reply . a ok then .. and i thought i was the only one with these syptoms lol
It's Mark Cerny on Ace Ventura. Edit: sorry missed the second gif haha. Wondered how you didn't recognise Mark/Ventura :)
He did a chilly challenge for one of the YouTube channels. It's hilarious.
@naruga Thinking about From Software's next game. Lol. He ate a hot pepper. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Seriously...last year was a killer with exclusives and 3 party, still digging out of my hole hopefully before Horizon drops
That's what I'm waiting for next, along with NiOh. Have both preordered. Trying to save some money now so I can still get both when they release.
Nope, they are not gonna stop. I wouldn't mind really.
Wallet? I do not own a wallet anymore because of those pricks... 😁
You probably still own a wallet. It's just so empty you forgot you had one. Lol.
Maybe he sold his wallet to buy games.:)
In 2016 alone I gave Sony like 2000 bucks, They are leaving me homeless.
Yeah, I think with the Pro, PSVR, VR games and all the regular games that in the last 6 months alone I spent like 2000 euros.... Insanity! Someone in need of a barely abused kidney? :)
Sucker Punch, Pixel Opus, and Japan/From will likely announce new games at e3. Possibly a SSM/Xdev + talented indie studio collaboration will announce something. More devolver console exclusives. New VR games.
I know your pain I could seriously stop buying for the next 2-3 years and live off the backlog for my gaming needs ;) there's always something else on the Horizon tho.. possibly even Horizon. I'll wait and see tho looks very promising.
Man Sony is killing it lol
Gotta laugh at those around here claiming Sony have blown their load. That has never been the case for them. There's always surprices with Playstation.
Surprices are surprise prices ? :)
Yeah I saw that and was like "I'm tired of fixing my phones mistakes" xD
If they have blown their load, this is pretty much confirmation that they're ready for round 2 :)
Sony has a mighty load.
To be perfectly honest, Xbox seems to be lacking in first party and now third party support with Sony snagging promotional/content deals with RDR2, Destiny, Call of Duty and many other games that would be popular on Xbox. They're in an awkward middle ground, and at this point if I were Micorosft I would've tried money-boating Mass Effect Andromeda or done something really drastic by now.
It likely isn't as easy to do that like they used to because the majority of gamers are on PS4.
Say no more. http://playstationna.i.lith...
You think you have more money than me?! Yeah, you probably do... I'm poor as f*** right now.
Jesus you guys already killed the competition! Please my wallet! On a more serious note, does this mean titles for 2017 or 2018?
My guess would be mostly 2018 but they'll probably have a smaller studio exclusive coming this year that we don't know about yet.
Based on their track record, 2018 onwards. Rarely do they announce and release in the same year.
Bloodborne was announced and then released in under 9 months. Entwined was announced at e3 and then immediately released.
LittleBigPlanet was announced and came out the same year.
Rarely..he said RARELY do they announce and release in the game year, which is completely true, but everyone pounces with the disagrees anyway because of course it upset the inner circle. Bloodborne did no release the *same year* it was announced. Entwined? lol ok then. So what is everyone disagreeing for?
He may as well have just burped. Its not as if he would announce they have no titles
2018-2019 as some already known titles are already pretty much guaranteed late 17 or 2018 @objadon Well you never know. A studio just got closed by sony sooo....
Welp, either way chances are they're coming and wont be cancelled.
Sony and Steam are both killing wallets left and right haha
I hate it when there is a great steam sale on and I've got no spare money grrrr lucky they have them often 😂
So much for people claiming that they showed everything.
Suckerpunch and From Software will both be a E3 with a PS4 game to show. Anything else is gravy.
Doesn't from software have like two more titles to release for their exclusive deal with Sony?
Imagine if Suckerpunch makes a new IP? WOW @the I don't know about two but rumors claim that FromSoftware is developing a JRPG for Sony.
They aren't making Infamous, I know that much.
Greatness is here.
Some companies should start taking notes. This is how its done. This is how you keep your fanbase happy. Having Variety in your VG library is never EVER a bad thing.
Well said bro.
Can't wait to see what Sucker Punch is working on.
Good to hear. Keep the games coming Sony.
This is insane! I love it!
The PS4 just keeps on giving when it comes to quality software
Got to give it to Sony never a dull moment on the software or hardware side IMO. They have me spending tons of money (looks at his psvr, pro and og ps4 lol).
Man this is the reason I FREAKIN LOVE PLAYSTATION. Games, Games and more Games. You'll always get my money sony.
Please be a new dark cloud, syphon filter, jack and daxter, legend of dragoon, darkstalkers, next gen crash bandicoot, spiro the dragon, black, mag... Any of these HEAD EXPLODES. What i really want is more jrpgs anything from the saga series, hell even a turn based one with updated graphics would prob do extremely well.
I would love a socom 2 remaster...
We are also getting rid of PS Now. We are losing too much money it. We will announce backwards compatibility for PS2 and PS3 games on PS4 at this years E3. Both physical disc and digital games will work. If you already own a digital PS3 game on your PSN account. It will work on PS4. This is the only announcement I want from them, lol.
Why do you hate PSNow so much? It is just another option. I'm sure you are one of the people that complained about not being able to play your owned games through PS Now, but that service is not a backwards compatibility solution and was never going to be.
I pay 99$ per year, which is 8.25$ per month. Its an amazing price, its costing me less than netflix. But as far as the service goes. access to 450 games for 8.25$ per month is decent. But the thing is, the real problem Im facing, is Sony is putting out to much new games. I am almost never playing old stuff. And as much as I try to play, my backlog only gets bigger! I try using PS Now whenever Im away, but still! People that keep touting backwards compatibility have a real problem, why are you guys excited for old stuff. when Sony announces a new game Im already thinking if the release date is say february 2017, I might start playing it in december, because i have other games! Or I sometimes cheat, and put game that comes out before other games that I have already slated to play! Im very strict normally on not bypassing, and playing what I have before going forward with something else. Last time I did it was for Uncharted 4. Horizon Zero Dawn, might make me again break my rules. But backwards comp as good as it is, I barely have the time.
@shodai I too signed up for the $99/ year when they did the first promo and ran into the same problem. I thought the service was great and it worked really well for me, but I never really used it because I was busy playing PS4 games. That year went by and my service has ended, but I only completed one game on Now (Ratchet and Clank) and only played a few others...Ni No Kuni being one of them. That is why PS Now is just another option for gaming and it is always good to have options. I think the service would be great for a big family or casual gamers because there really are a lot of games on there for all types of players.
Because I don't have room for a PS3 console and I own a lot of PS3 games on PSN. I don't feel I should have to repay for games I already purchased. PSN account should be one thing on one system.
Sony's losing money on PSNow? Where is the press release to back that up?
Didn't you hear? Phil Spencer told him so.
There's never been a successful streaming GAME service. People repaying for games they already own are suckers.
Uhhh...you didn't answer my question. Where is it shown that Sony is losing money on PSNow? Just because there has never been a successful game streaming service(something I also question the validity of), doesn't mean that Sony is losing money on it. And who's to say that the people that are paying for the service are rebuying games? And if they are, are they suckers, or does the service provide something for those buyers that is good for them in some way? Hate to tell you, but PSNow isn't exactly pushed on the hardcore that heavily. It's more a casual thing, and those casuals have more money than sense sometimes. If renting digital movies can be successful, there is no reason renting streaming games can't also be successful, and Sony certainly has more brand recognition to make it successful than prior game streaming services. You know what's funny. Before Steam, and last gens console efforts for a digital marketplace, I would have said people were suckers for buying digital games. I would have said it'd never be successful because no one wants that. I would have been wrong. But at least I wouldn't make up lies and would provide facts to back up my assertions, instead of making assumptions like you are here.
Well Sony doesn't think they should have to pay for you to stream all your PS3 games for free on your PS4. Streaming does cost money ya know. Yes, it would be damn cool to download any PS3 game onto PS4 and play it, but that is not going to happen.
It's greed. They want even more money from games you already purchased.
@rainslacker It's not losing money that I know of. It was said more as wishful thinking, lol. So Sony is forced into adding PS3 emulation on PS4.
Do people still not get that PS3 emulation is simply not possible on the PS4 right now? Heck it's not even really a thing on PC yet.
my back catalog of games from October-December last year is piled up! Let alone my most played game daily is Overwatch. I can't finish all these games!
I have 24 games that are unopened. 24 FREAKIN GAMES!!
If you bought them when you planned to play them you'd save yourself a tonne of money. I couldn't even recall 24 games I've played :/
