Gravity Rush 2 Review | Slant Magazine

There's a pure, exhilarating joy to the way Gravity Rush 2, like its predecessor, allows one to shift gravity on cue—to recklessly fall through the sky in order to fend off the monstrous, gelatinous Nevi. And yet, there's a constant sinking feeling about the whole affair.

In my opinion, only games that are broken or a glitchy mess should be rated 3 or lower and I highly doubt this game is broken or glitchy. I don't agree with this review score personally but to each their own; I'll still enjoy the game when it ships to my house in 10 days

Genuine-User467d ago (Edited 467d ago )

I absolutely agree. There's always that one obnoxious nutcase that scores a perfectly fine game a 2 or 3 out of 10.

UCForce467d ago

This review won't stop me from enjoying the game.

DARKKENT467d ago

Agenda... My guess to get hits

Liqu1d467d ago

Why did you submit this review then? You're only contributing to the problem by giving them clicks.

nowadays when a game changes from shooting with R2 and running with L3 then it's bad.
it's so laughable and these trolls got it all twisted

Unspoken466d ago

Terrible games get terrible scores. Nope, not in Sony la la land.

This is click bait! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it's known that if ya wait a day or 2 and then release some contrary review, you stand out!

moegooner88467d ago (Edited 467d ago )

I would say review is fishing for hits, but honestly can you blame him, when all the positive reviews failed to reach 200 in heat and this one made it to 220 minutes after submission. As long as people continue giving reviews like this one attention, they won't stop. If anything this magazine is known for rating good games with very low scores. So yeah.

Relientk77467d ago

I'm with you on that and the game is neither broken or a glitchy mess

Takwin467d ago

Agreed. I basically said the same thing in my own comment.

CaptainPunch466d ago

10 day shipping? Who are you ordering from lol.

CocoaBrother466d ago

The game doesn't release in the states until the 20th so I gotta wait 10 days. That's what I meant. I'd never order a game with 10-day shipping; I'd just go pick it up from a store

We got a wild one over here. This guy scored Battleborn higher than Gravity Rush 2 lol

Wild one?.....You're the one that submitted this article. Did you write this for satire or something?

Fishy Fingers467d ago (Edited 467d ago )

Submitting to N4G doesn't mean having anything to do with the source material.

Although authors of the lesser sites do (occasionally) submit and approve themselves but I don't think that's the case here with Genuine-User.

Deadpooled467d ago (Edited 467d ago )

Sometimes I submit articles with obscenely low review scores for awareness (and for the writer and website to get shat on by N4G comments and the gaming community)

Ravenor467d ago

Or validation from a community, this guy has a dissenting opinion get him! Now, I'm not saying this review is accurate or the score is warranted. But there is something kind of odd about the notion of highlighting low scores so you can all just comment on N4G about this thing that has offended your feelings/tastes. I'm sure that'll show him.

Also N4G doesn't equal the gaming community, just the tiniest sliver of the tiniest sliver.

never4get467d ago

10/10 if gravity rush 2 have more realistic lighting.

blackblades467d ago

Lol never heard of slant magazine. Swear these unknown sites etc... coming out of know where.

Liqu1d467d ago (Edited 467d ago )

Gave Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and AC: Unity a higher score as well. He gave Evolve a 4/5 and Gone Home a 4.5/5.

WhiteyFox467d ago

Battleborn was a fine game if you exclude the matchmaking issues it had in the first days.

There's always those one or two reviews that give out those ridiculous scores for a little adsense revenue.....

Rangerman1208467d ago

Yep. For example? Uncharted 4's Washington Post review.

Kurdishcurse466d ago (Edited 466d ago )

opinions mate...grow up and learn to accept them. for example, i found this game to be enjoyable while i found UC4 to be dull rehashed garbage. not every game on ps4 will get good numbers by everyone who plays it. same goes with any game on any platform. after reading the dilusional comments on here, ill be leaving now. i dont like pitchforks.

lodossrage466d ago

While what you say is true that everyone has an opinion and different tastes, that doesn't change the fact of what this review is. Clickbait is clickbait plain and simple.

They had this scored at 1.5 a little while ago before it got changed to a 3. You tell me what about this game would even merit a 1.5. A score like that means the game is dang near broken and unplayable.

Rangerman1208467d ago

I'm sorry but this review seems way to negative. If it was 5 or 6, is all right, but a 3? That's like giving The Order 1886 an 9 out of 10.

KOIMOJO467d ago

Oh come on man, what did The Order 1886 do to you? XD

Deadpooled467d ago, thanks for the clickbait attempt, another website added on my block list.
