2017 has begun and gamers are looking forward to another awesome year of gaming. Big titles like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Halo Wars 2, For Honor, and Persona 5 make up just the first few months of what promises to be a stellar year. However, there are a few games that are, release date or no release date, probably not coming out this year.
Shenmue: Reclaiming the Path is a fan game using Dreamcast-era visuals, and tells a new story within the Shenmue saga taking place in both Hong Kong and Guilin. Its expected to release on September 16th.
Something about recreating old school graphics in an era of HD high poly photo realism just hits a spot. I'm not nostalgic cause I mostly played GameCube and GB/A, but it's a visual style that gets over looked even by indies.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
CCP Games has unveiled an ambitious roadmap for their sci-fi MMO EVE Online in 2024, headlined by the massive Equinox expansion set to launch on June 11th.
I don't mind Spider-Man not releasing alongside the movie, as I'd rather Insomniac has the time to develop it and release the game when it is ready.
Aside from RDR2 and Shenmue 3...... who cares really?
So basically 4 PS4 exclusives from last years E3 (1 from this yr) and RDR2. I don't think there's a chance in hell that the 4 PS exclusives release this yr, as none of them have been tasked as such, which is fine because so many others will. That said, I believe just as strongly that RDR2 will release this fall, though usually Rockstars games release in June I believe, so there is that!
Other games on the bubble would be God of War, Crackdown, Detroit, And Dreams, though I don't believe any of these games have been touted to release this year either!
I wouldn't doubt FFVIIR is a 2018 release at all, but I still don't get why people say the developers are CyberConnect2. It's Square-Enix Business Division 1. CyberConnect2 is just helping out. Geez.

Ofcourse Square is putting their A-team on the game, they wouldn't lease it out to a small company like CyberConnect2.
