UGO writes: "Lets face it, Star Wars fans have been pretty much let down, time after time, since the release of Episode 1. Admittedly it's not exactly easy to live up to the hype and demand for new Star Wars tales, but at the very least fans enjoy not feeling embarrassed over their love of the franchise. Episodes 1, 2 (and, to a slightly lesser extent) 3 were embarrassing, and so was Clone Wars: The Animated, family-friendly funfest. Unless you're under the age of 10, most of the past decade of Star Wars has not been for you.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an attempt to remedy that. The game was developed from the ground up to be a more mature, less bright-and-shiny take on the Star Wars franchise. It was also developed with the intention of not sucking, which has been something of a challenge for Star Wars games over the years. There have been a few gems, to be sure, but the majority...not so much."
