1UP writes: "Instead of providing a streamlined alternative to the more ambitious console iterations, the PSP version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an abridged disappointment. The developer's cutting of dialogue and minor plot points simply lead to narrative inconsistencies and overall poor characterization, and the game is served equally poorly by unresponsive controls and a frustrating camera. TFU PSP fails to provide any reason to choose it over the arguably more impressive alternatives on every other platform.
With that said, the visuals are impressive, and tossing objects and people around feels surprisingly natural. But the cost of that power comes in ridiculously long load times --from the moment the game starts, and anytime you begin a new level, you'll stare at a loading screen for over a minute. Even in the middle of a battle, the game will occasionally freeze and display a "now loading" graphic for several seconds."
