Socom.com writes: "Hey all! I just got this in my mailbox from the Qore gang. They've got some great info for the Qore subscribers who are ready and starving to get into the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta".

Keep your Bullsh!t and your codes. People: Don't be cheap and go buy qore 1.... I mean really. LAME - Bits-N-Kibbles

...that sure was a quick way to get down to 2 bubbles. Way to go.
i gave you one bubble, can you send me the code via pm. thank you.
I hope I get my email on time tommorow.
I hope they fixed the servers with that emergency maintenance they had the other day, they thought last weeks group was bad from all the gamestop codes, i cant imagine tomorrows... might be skipping trying to get on tomorrow night....
Is the beta tied to the account, I purchased Qore 1 with an account I don't use anymore, after I download it can I play it with the one I currently use?
yea you can but you will get the beta code in the email in which you bought Qore
This sucks. I pre-ordered and my beta code never got e-mailed to me. THEN the Socom devs posted an update saying that the emails got messed up and should be sent yesterday. STILL nothing. Now, I did buy the first issue of QORE, but if they're still depending on this broken e-mail distribution of codes, I may never get mine.
get ready to get owned by the VANDERNATOR..
My last name's VanderSchuit. Nice to see another dutchman around! People call me the VANDALIZER
if i order it now will i get in??
That's what I would like to know as well.
the beta code can be used 3 different times on 3 different PlayStation. if any one wants to mail me 1 please do! :) please please!!
thats not the same deal with the qore codes...
Im actually still waiting for my code, but one of my friends was lucky enough to get it on the first day so he gave me a code. When I get MY code I'd be happy to give anyone who wants one, one. just leave me a PM just in case I get my code before any of you, I just want people to try this game and buy it when it comes out it really is a great game.
i shared mine one time so i can give on one more away ...if you guys are interested hit me up on psn Lanontscuz...ill send the code as soon as i can ...
Chances are that people looking at this article are all for Socom. I get it. I never played Socom, but I need a crack game and MGO didn't really deliver for me. Plus I hear Socom is call Socrack. Seems like it fits my needs, but that brings me to my problem. I want Resistance 2 as well. So, people, as objectively as possible, which is a better pick; Socom Confrontation or Resistance Fall of Man 2?
I assume you've already played resistance 1, so you should already know what to expect for R2 Now Socom, is a game that relies on extreme tactical ability and team work. That run and gun style that you can use in most of the fps games won't work on Socom. It's all about teamwork. In short, this game relies of cooperation. So if you have a couple of friends that you want to play with and they have ps3 systems, then I suggest to you get Socom so that you and your peeps can go to town. Better pick?....Well, personally I'd say Resistance 2 on account that it has single AND multiplayer whereas Socom has ONLY multiplayer
SOCOM is online only, in resistance there's a SP campaign. I've never played SOCOM either but hopefully I get a chance to see what it's all about
I looked at the videos, and your right. The aiming seems to require a lot more skill for sure...But there's so much content for R2! well I think I'm probably just going to suck it up and pay $100+tax and get both... ...damn these good developers...
Both games are really great, but The gaming GOD hit the nail on the head. If you have the money seriously get both but if money is tight.. R2 is three games in one Single player, 8playerco-op, and the usual online. SOCOM is crack though and with this new one I dont see why it wont be again. The game has the best Mic support for any PS3 game out there and its just in BETA! But what the hell you can go eating ramen noodles for a month and get both so w/e. :)
Socom is a hard game. It takes time to get used to, and since there is no offline mode, you will get your ass handed to you a lot before being able to get a little revenge. The great thing about Socom is that every kill is satisfying. Every kill means something and is an accomplishment. Resistance has offline, co-op, and online. It is a huge game and probably more worth your money. But Socom is the one game I have wanted and the reason I got a PS3. My choice would be Socom, but from a pure value point of view, it would be R2. I am going to try to get both.
having played both i will tell you that both games will rock your world, socom has a bit more realism to it while resistance has the uniqueness factor, i would trade in that copy of mgs4 that didnt deliver it for you and get both, you would be doing yourself a disservice as a ps3 owner and shooter fan to not have both.
I'll be checking my email compulsively until I get the confirmation email. I don't mind starting the beta a few days later than the pre-order crowd. Many of the issues that were prevalent in the beginning of the beta shouldn't be there for Qore users. Or at least I hope. Either way, good news.
lol i did the same thing for r2 and socom, you just cant wait to get your hands on it, trust me socom is awesome, a few loading issues which we have been told are being tweaked but gameplay rocks, enjoy, see you this weekend psn hagaf22
Well, i got the first and second episode of core for free though the Playstation magazine.
If your not give Sony a ring and tell them whats on your mind, usually works for me.
i just gave my last one away ...well hope to see you guys online...
any1 else share their beta code with me? psn id same as n4g id PLEASE! omg PLEASE!
I really hope to see a patch tomorrow before the Qore people get on. It is really hard to play right now, but once I am in a game it is the most enjoyable gaming experience I have had since Socom 2 (and it may go beyond that game)
Yesterday was torture, but I've had no problems signing in today.
I bought the first episode of Quore but I am already in the beta. Supposedly I should have the code in my inbox later and I might have another code also because my son pre-ordered and ended up getting a code from his friend. Anyone interested? PM me and the first three or maybe six should get a code. Off topic, but a genuine moving video.
And this blows. There are so many Socom beta codes out there already. I've been playing it for 3 days now and now Qiore is talking about releasing it? A bit late to the game. One thing I don't like about Qore is how they advertise a beta or demo and it doesn't even come until after pre-orders or whatever. I'm *paying* for Qore which is nothing but videos that should be on the PSN Store for free and advertisements. It's honestly kinda horsesh!t. At this point, I will not be renewing my Qore membership next year.
I got the subsription and defended it thus far, but no more...NO MORE I SAY!!! seriously though. What kind of BS is it when you subscribe for a year in order to get all the beta and demo stuff, just to find out when you get said episode, it says demo not yet available? WTF. I love my PS3 but already hate my qore. What a filthy little Qore indeed.
