Uncharted 4 - The Most Cinematic Game Ever?

So you didn't like uncharted 2 but uncharted 4 blew you away because it was cinematic. I'm the complete opposite. I think uncharted 2 is one of the best paced games ever made, the characters were top notch, the gunplay, platforming and puzzles all delivered.

Yes uncharted 4 is more cinematic and that's why it's the worst one. There is nothing to praise about going from perfect pacing to slow movie pacing with shit gunplay and puzzles. The platforming also sucked. They replaced everything good about uncharted with cutscenes.

Edit : it doesn't matter. You want Uncharted series to be milk. Way back in 2011, Uncharted 3 director said that he would like to make more Uncharted games which was not cool for me. I'm not talking to Amy Henning, I'm talking to Justin Richmond. Uncharted 3 had two directors.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything lol. I'm simply stating my disagreement. Or... I agree that it's more cinematic, I disagree that it makes uncharted better in any way, shape or form. Uncharted 4 does suck but it's a part of the series whether I want it to be or not. What an awful way to end the series.

Additionally to being even more cinematic the gameplay in U4 is on a whole other level than U2's. That alone makes it a better game imho.

How though? Uncharted 2's gameplay and set pieces blew U4 out of the water. Uncharted 2 had its stealth segments but they didn't replace the whole game with that. That half assed MGS5 combat isn't the same. The reason they even did that was worse, the whole "we didn't want Drake to look like a mass murderer, like how he runs through people in uncharted 2". That's why it was fun dummies! He was a light hearted dude that shot hundreds of scumbags in the face. In uncharted 4 the lighthearted camp was gone. It was stupid serious and the characters suffered as a result. When Drake was bitching at sully or crying like a bitch I was shaking my head.

The ending banter and gameplay with drake and Elena in the pirate ships were the only redeeming qualities of uncharted 4. Those end levels were the only ones that came close to being on uncharted 2's level. The animations are amazing in 4 though, I'll give them that. I personally like the cartoonish look of the characters in UC2 opposed to the photorealism of U4. Some characters looked stupid. They didn't even play the uncharted theme song in 4.

Your absolutely right bro.. U4 gameplay is by far the best in the series. As it should be.. Im a fan of the uncharted games. And the gunplay in u4 was amazing compared to other games in the series.. Your opinion I back 100%.

You are a liar and I doubt you've played the game. Replaced everything good with cutscenes? That's a lie because U4 is the only uncharted and maybe the only game of its genre that let's you actually play set pieces from start to finish without going to a cinematic or using cinematics to complete those set pieces.

In fact that's uncharted 4 and naughty dog biggest triumph , you actually " play" a cinematic game instead of watching cinematics.

Don't use uncharted 2 as a stick to beat uncharted 4. If you prefer the story then fair enough ( I too prefer the story in U2) but no way it had better gunplay than U4 or this " pacing" you're talking about.

Since you mentioned " replaced everything good with cutscenes ", can you give us an example ?
