Creative director Chuck Osieja discusses stamping their authority on Epic Games' classic series.
"Gears of War 4 director on taking over Epic's series and learning from Halo devs 343"
Learning from 343i? More like 343i should learn from The Coalition.
Not really,Halo 5 has the exact same review scores as Gears 4. Oddly, both games were criticized for story, but praised for gameplay (especially multiplayer).
Off Topic: Phil Spencer mentions Xbox Studios collaborating, 343i and Coalition should collaborate to make a new Perfect Dark or an Xbox hero shooter.
no matter the reviews the game is solid ....
This is why...imo (that won't be a popular one)...both studios should have made these next installments with a focus on MP only. Both series had a perfect ending and really didn't need any more story to expand it.
Both should have came with perhaps a remaster of the original campaign then added new MP modes, characters and maps.

That would be amazing.
Yea bout to say, halo 5's camapign blowed please don't learn from 343.
Gears of Halo confirmed! That would epic HordZone assualt ftw
Makes a lot of sense, 343 had a fair few struggles when they took over the Halo series which they've learned a lot from (and it shown with Halo 5) so it's only natural that The Coalition would learn a lot from them considering they're in a fairly similar position.
How are they to learn about making games when 343i still cannot make a proper remaster that works?
Great so far though I deduct a point automatically from now if a game has battlepacks.
The disease that is EA and Dice abounds.
I think 343 were handed the biggest of tasks. No studio in history was ever given a more prominent franchise to handle. They have weathered a great deal and learned even more. As long as they maintain care with the canon, do not try to tween it, they have demonstrated their ability. And other than an X1 issue that relates to signing in, the MCC now runs incredibly well. Add this to the fact Reach B/C now runs better than the original on the 360 and HALO is in safe hands.
I would reconsider that if the game has free content updates and stuff for a year... Does Gears 4 have them? If so, yeah mark it down since it has paid map packs. But I would take micro transactions and free maps, as opposed to no micro transactions and paid maps. Anyone that's played Halo 5 recently will agree.
