Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced today that SingStar ABBA is currently in development for the PS2 and PS3, and will be available for this Christmas.

Owners of either system will now be able to sing along with some of the most iconic pop tracks of all time including 'Mamma Mia', 'Gimme Gimme Gimme', 'Waterloo' and 'Dancing Queen'.

SingStar ABBA is being developed in full collaboration with ABBA and Universal Music Group in Sweden, which manages the rights to the ABBA brand. The terms of the agreement include a window of exclusivity for disc-based PlayStation titles until December 2009.

Not touching this with a bargepole.

But I'm seriously up for Singstar Queen. First time I've ever been tempted by Singstar games...instant party.

Heh, heh, heh. Wouldn't it be awesome for Electric Six to be in Singstar too? lol.

But Singstar Queen is an officially licenced Queen version of Singstar.
I love the band Queen and can't pass that one up. Hope it has all the classics.

Seriously; also How cool would it be to be singing 'Naked Pictures of your Mother' and 'Danger! High Voltage' with friends at a party, also it would be funny to force people to sing 'Gay Bar' when its their turn as you hand over the mike, with the Abe Lincoln at the background. lol.

Avoiding Singstar ABBA as much as I possibly can. Undoubtedly will sell amazing well with cult audiences though.

There's a lot of Queen songs already on the Singstore.

Considering ABBA is popular in Europe I would say it will sell well to the singstar crowd.

This will be very popular, I hate ABBA and even singing (tone deaf) but a hell of a lot of people love them both.

So these songs won't be available on SingStore?
