Digital Chumps: Yggdra Union Review

Despite a few nagging flaws, fans of tactics/strategy RPGs should buy Yggdra Union without question. It's undeniably fun in its attempt to blend two seemingly divergent genres, and brings a substantial amount of originality to boot. Like last year's Jeanne d'Arc, it succeeded in maintaining my interest in a genre that's usually next to last on my fun list. Whether or not it can attract, and most importantly, retain, newcomers is anyone's guess, but the drought of upcoming PSP software and inviting tutorial system certainly doesn't hurt its chances.
