"What should have made this the thinking man's bloodbath is the extensive RPG elements and character customisation. However, levelling up only allows you to unlock new skills that you'll never use, while every nook and cranny of the impressively large, if bland levels, contains enough spare swords and codpieces to start World War 3. This latter element is actually detrimental to the game, since you have so many weapons thrown at you that you'll never carry any specific one longer than 15 minutes."
"Despite a ten year gestation period, Too Human has still managed to pop out premature, bereft of any real polish. Take the intro - you're thrown into an alien world without even the basic guidance of an optional tutorial, and are instead given some obtuse movie sequences with oh-so-serious dialogue and a confusing menu system. Several others have commented that co-op play enhances the game's playability. This may be true, but just because you can drink bleach on your own or with a friend doesn't change the fact that it's likely to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Dull, repetitive and frustrating; spend your spare £40 on something else. "
