Over humanity's centuries of evolutionary supremacy, they have come to view animals as cute fuzzy critters good for nothing more than eating, adorning calendars and starring in Animal Planet programs. In reality, they are dangerous beasts bent on our destruction, a fact that the good people at Cabela's and Activision know all too well.
Activision is apparently putting a lot of production value into this latest Cabela's title, tapping Brad Santos, screenwriter and creative director, to pen the tale of Cole Rainsford, who has joined his estranged father in the African safari to hunt dangerous animals terrorizing local villages there. See, kids? Hunting is a noble pursuit.

Sadly, Cabela's 2009 is a mess overall. Tracking in Hunter Sense is way too difficult because trails are tricky to find; the mission structure is disjointed; and the graphics are rougher than a bear's bum. Best leave this one out in the wilderness.
