Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection Trailer Shows Off Remastered Visuals for PS4 and Xbox One

EB: Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection Trailer, which is headed to the PS4 and Xbox One this November. The trailer shows off the improved visuals for current-gen consoles for the three titles that are included in the collection.

Cool. Loved Assassin's Creed 2 GOTY last gen, never played the 2 follow-ups (because of DLC), so this will be a good chance to revisit it. The HD-remaster doesn't look amazing, though, which is a bit disappointing, but 3 great games including all DLC is an attractive offer in itself.

Ah Ezio...the best Assassin they've done

They just can't get it right lately. The closest one was Edward but the game it's self despite being good didn't feel like an Assassins Creed game. Ezio was a true Assassin from beginning to end.

He is my favorite character. I think why Ubisoft made three games of AC because the fan love Ezio.

Altair is better IMO. Born to be an Assassin, died the God of Assassins. Check out "Altair: The Story You Never Knew" on Youtube.

I also like Edward better than Ezio due to his selfish, anti-hero style. The only version of Ezio I like is Old Man Ezio from Revelations and Legend Ezio from Embers.

No multiplayer, no 60fps, almost same graphics. Waste of Time Ubisoft. Why not actually pack in All the Ass Creed games pre-Blackflag? That would be worth the money and have a lot of hype. I will not be purchasing anyway, already got all the achievements for Ass Creed 2 in Xbox 360 and beat Brotherhood there too.

Ubi's track records in Remasters and Collections has not been good. last gen, their HD collections were the worst looking like no extra job was done on it at all.

Rendered at 1080p and with a few other improvements. Same as a "remaster". pc version had 60 fps which makes the game feel way better though.

Ezio is a better character and protagonist than Connor. Connor was dead character who speak like a robot, we couldn't find anything to relate and he was plain and boring while Ezio was a bad ass, ladies killer, relatable.

Considering how good the modern warfare remaster looks... And the batman remaster and bioshock remaster this is a let down. Whilst brotherhood and revelations will probably look fine number two needed some more work. Whilst at it brotherhoods combat and AI could've been expanded into AC2. Might pick it up as I loved all three games but not until it's like a tenner on psn store.

Who is everyone? There's not a single game last generation that sold 160 million units so I have no clue what you're talking about there will always be a market for re-releases. if you read the numbers and you understand the market you'll know what you're talking about is very silly and makes very little sense.

Consider this what is a good game? That's extremely subjective and companies are not re-releasing games because they're "good" they're re-releasing them to make more money.

I don't disagree with you it would be interesting if we saw more lesser-known titles but there doesn't need to be this "instead of" this is not an either/or. Have you not considered that because it's a lesser-known title might give great reason for the company to not remaster it if they feel they won't make a return?

That's not even me saying you're wrong or anything like that because there has been companies that have released ports and found a great success look at valkyria Chronicles on PC.

I'm merely saying you could still ask for those titles to be remastered without bashing other titles that are releasing I'm sorry but what does one have to do with the other? Mind you, I don't even play the Assassin's Creed series and I have no plans to purchase this , but I also don't see the benefit in bashing the game or its fans just because I want something else remastered.

Seriously take a step back stop being so self-centered and start thinking about everybody else, the reality is lots and lots of people did not play Assassin's Creed I'm pretty positive there's someone that's going to purchase this collection that's never played the series before.

I don't even own are Ubisoft game this generation besides Rainbow Six Siege which I purchased on sale a week or so ago.

@ex - agreed from what I've seen in the before and afters they haven't really done that significant of a job with this not as much as other companies have done.

I think it would have been better for them to at least try to change some of those textures. But I guess someone out there who hasn't played the Assassin's Creed games that owns a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One could very much help themselves to a slightly better looking version.

I think they met there wasn't going to be a brand new Assassin's Creed this year.

a team at Ubisoft was already working on Watchdogs 2 to launch this year meaning that they've already known years in advance that Assassin's Creed was going to skip this year in favor of that team working on Watch Dogs 2.

The team that's doing this collection most likely has nothing to do with this Assassins Creed that's in development currently most games that are ported actually are not done by the teams that are creating brand new games it's a completely different process.

For example bluepoint games didn't work on Uncharted 4 and clearly they're not working on the last of us 2, they were hired simply to Port over Uncharted 1 2 & 3 their job has nothing to do with creating a brand new game.

I mean I hope you're not assuming that Assassin's Creed that's coming out next year is starting development after this game releases and by the exact same people, that seems to me like you may be better read up on how ports are actually made. Lol
