Atari Loses 67 Million Dollars

Atari has just posted its Q4 (ending 31 March 2006) and full year financials for the 2006 fiscal year earlier today, reporting a shocking net loss to the tune of US$67million over the year.

This compared to net profits in 2005 of $5.7million. It seems that a combination of poor sales and that old chestnut, 'the transitional year' has hit the company hard where it hurts. (Industry)

It's funny
Atari has been around for so long. I don't know if a lost like that is big for them or not.

You do know that in about 2 months Atari will be gone
The have until Agust 30 to pull their stock over a $1 or Nasdag will remove them from the stock market, that means bye bye Atari. Right now they are at 60 cents.
