A German sci-fi legend, the fictional hero has been appearing in weekly German publications (in novella form) since the 1960s, becoming one of the longest-running series of any kind in the world. Not bad for someone with no superpowers. Unfortunately for American sci-fi fans, English runs of Perry's adventures have never quite made it, burning out several times before they could truly get going." D/A+
