Is the simulation of the feeling of being a Pokemon trainer being simulated pretty much as close as your ever going to get of a created entertainment property of that now has moved from a strictly imagination property to now being moved to physical properties now outside of just the imagination.
Pokémon players have been dreaming of such a Level of interactive game playing with their Pokémon interaction..now its no longer just from imagination of what it could be to now what it is now..
Many may mistake this for a fad, but there are millions of Pokémon fans young and older who are now or now have a way to play Pokémon before not available to them..now its not just based of imagination of how would that feel to be, in itself its moved from words on a card or screen to now Augmented reality on real streets. Real building to real locations in the real world.
I think many are excited because of the scavenger hunt sociological aspect to it. That's been included..I mean many people enjoy watching the amazing race. And watching or participated into joining scavenging hunts.. this just extropulates on such the same type of concept.
When i think about people playing pokemon go all i think of is them bieng robbed, kidnapped, accidents ect.
