I hope that's just one of many things they changed, Watch Dogs disappointed me a lot

SolidStoner2852d ago

they cant create simulation, thats why they do arcade! too lazy, loo short development times.. and its ubisoft, they lie all the time about theyre games, especially graphics department!

-Foxtrot2852d ago

Well it wasn't very "simulation" like in the first one and more close to "arcade" so they thought "F*** it".

KiwiViper852852d ago

I always called for the ubiclub papavero stealth. It was the only car that handled half way decent

Glemt2852d ago

SIMULATION? Seriously?! They called their driving 'physics' in Watch_Dogs a simulation and want to go more arcade? MORE arcade? You could pop a wheelie on a bike and just keep driving, even turning in slight corners.
Well, I have to play it, or see it being played, before I can judge, but this doesn't bode well for WD2...

Alexious2852d ago

It was definitely closer to simulation than, say, GTA's driving.

BrettAwesome2852d ago (Edited 2852d ago )

Have you ever actually driven a car in real life??

DrJones2852d ago

Yeah, in GTA IV the driving was also closer to simulation.

Pongwater2851d ago (Edited 2851d ago )

GTA4 and 5 driving was definitely closer to simulation than, say, WD's driving.

They tried to make it simulation but it ended up neither simulation nor arcade
if you pay attention in WD you must press brake from distance before turning
that's similar to real life but it doesn't feel anything like it
I find only knowing that make the driving not that bad but still it's not good

Edit:
That's typical for Ubisoft
They always come up with good idea then they just deliver half of it
That's what makes me worry about For Honor

The original Watch Dogs was such a disappointment. However, this new take may give it the series the second chance it deserves.

BrettAwesome2852d ago (Edited 2852d ago )

Say what? How was driving in the first watchdogs NOT totally arcade?? I loved driving in that game because it was so easy. Like driving on rails...
