E3 2016: Telltale Dawns the Cowl for Batman: The Telltale Series | Hardcore Gamer

Hardcore Gamer: Telltale Games has gotten its hands on a large number of big name IPs. Jurassic Park, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones have all been given the Telltale treatment, and now the developer has gotten their hands on their biggest IP yet. Batman: The Telltale Series is a daring direction for Telltale Games. Batman is a more action-oriented franchise than anything the developer has worked on before and the studio wants players to spend a lot of time as Bruce Wayne, something no game has done before. We got to check out the first 30 minutes of Batman at E3 2016 to see if Telltale is doing the IP justice.

Good info. I highly recommend Mount and Blade.

alfcrippinjr2641d ago

Mount and Blade. does look good

NewMonday2641d ago (Edited 2641d ago )

Titanfall 2 has a great single player campaign, worth it for that alone for those who don't play MP

Fishermenofwar2640d ago

I was very skeptical..I guess its worth it at that price...

Really? Have to check it out! Thanks. The deals are alright otherwise. But they have been so good that they almost seem pedestrian now. That and Nioh and Horizon are coming soon!

Edit: looks good! And M&B 2 is coming also at some point!

NotoriousWhiz2640d ago

And for anyone who is unaware. Mount and Blade was heavily influenced by a DOS game: Conqueror 1086 A.D. I played Conqueror to death back in the day. Currently, doing the same with Mount and Blade. Both are great games.

You know what would have been smart? Putting any of the Tales games or Yakuza games on sale to coincide with the release of the newest games in the franchises.

_-EDMIX-_2641d ago (Edited 2641d ago )

But technically that is up to those Publishers to decide.

I mean you have to consider that those Publishers want you to focus on their new game releases , not their older ones

Ryasha2640d ago

What better way to get the consumer interested in your new game than by giving them incentive from making your old games easier to gain access to?

Muzikguy2641d ago

Meh...... Maybe it's because these sales happen often or maybe it's because I'm getting older and see these things more clearly, but many times these sales don't seem like sales. Especially when you see the same title cost more in one sale than it did in a sale or 2 before it.

nevin12641d ago

You're not getting older, instead you're just getting more wiser.

Let's face it, these deals suck.

Cmv382641d ago

They suck if its not the games you want. But these are decent sales. Tropico 5 is very very fun. If you missed the ps plus month for it. Highly recommend. Its all subjective, but there are good games on this list. Amd some low enough to try out, like bound by flame sparked my interest, and i may pull the trigger on that.

WeAreLegion2641d ago

Agreed. A lot of these games were cheaper in previous sales. I'm not complaining, but it is a little odd.

zaherdab2641d ago

They are actually cheaper as physical versions

FITgamer2641d ago

True story. I thought same thing when looking at the deals. Saves me from buying games I don't need right now. My back log is ridiculous right now.

Muzikguy2641d ago

Definitely. If you have a backlog (and I most certainly do), there's no point jumping at these. They'll go down even more like they already have. My backlog is actúally getting to the point that I'm forgetting about games I even own. Just bought RE7 today too. That may be my last game for quite some time (besides Persona 5)

Just cause 3 is a must if you're low on funds and want a game with hours of fun.
