Rabie Hassoun Writes:
"Let's get one thing straight, Castle Crashers is a fantastic game. For only 1200 MS Points you can get an arcade title so good that it is even worth at retail. With such bold statements, give us a chance to explain why The Behemoth's beat 'em up arcade is so full of awesomeness.
For a game that was running on a GameCube a few years ago, Castle Crashers surely changed a lot. The graphics have improved dramatically and the length of the game was cut a little short to satisfy the size limitations of XBLA. To sum it up, Castle Crashers is a side-scrolling beat-em-up with some RPG elements on the side. You will be playing as a super warrior on his way to save four rather attractive princesses from castles scattered around the map, fighting enemies with different colours, shapes and sizes along the way in deserts, forests, castles and many other distinctive locations.
The single player game is worth the money paid up on its own. But the developers added even more goodies here. The game can be played and finished with up to four players locally or online. Finished the game alone and with a friend? Than test your skills in the fighting arena against other players online. Castle Crashers is just so deep for an XBLA game. You can unlock up to 20 characters over the course of the game and a new difficulty level will unlock after you finish Castle Crashers the first time. The developers could not have added anymore value to this game really."
