"2) Ad-hoc mode PSP games will be able to use the PS3 to communicate and play with other users over long distance."

so this will make the PS3 like XLink Kai for your PSP?

thats cool!

If that's what we think it is, OMG the possibilities. That means I can play Monster Hunter with everyone without using Xlink!!

OMFG! you guys! i love kai! omg this would be so much easier! think about it, we can all play MH without having to complain about no infrastructure! xD

Whining for the lack of infrastructure will be a thing of the past, also with the new PSP having a built in mic it's even more enticing. Even though I have a mic for my PSP but for people who plan on getting one, this is nice.

so basically u use ur internet conection of ur ps3 and play certain PSP titles online?

if thats the case then yes!!! im been waiting for sony to do this for ages!!!

OK, I'm a tard.
How is this different from using your existing WiFi setup at home?
I mean, I've played online with my PSP at home without needing the PS3.

I'm just trying to understand if there is a difference or not.
