Too Human sells 140k the first week in the US! lol
It could have sold far less. In fact, it could have only sold 35,000 copies in it's first week, like Uncharted: Drake's Fortune did. : )
Uncharted came out 2 days before the end of the month and they counted those as it's monthly sales. Just stop with your fanboyism.
@ name You are correct about Uncharted's release date. I must say though, you should be the last person to call someone out on fanboyism.
http://www.vgchartz.com/gam... still a great game. so please stop this nonsense
since when is november 19 two days away from the end of the month?
It's too early to tell if the game will sell well. the 140k was probably mostly preorders (if they were counted) @leila01 - uncharted is too great a game to only have 1.74 million sales. It deserves A LOT more, which is more than I can say for Too Human...
That's exactly what's I meant; sales don't make a good game. If that was the case, I would own a Wii. Me for instance; I'm already a fan of LBP, and I haven't played it yet! So even if the game sells two copies tomorrow, I'll be one of those two people that bought the game.
"Too Human Tops Rental Charts, Microsoft "Pleased" By North American Sales" <--lol. I wonder how much money they pumped into this turd. Has anyone even seen a commercial? [email protected]
Me im wondering how many higher classed sony employee did you suck to get at your level of Sony Rep. im of to another thread with my MAX SPEED!
M$ says jump, Xbots jump..what else is new?
Excellent, after playing through Too Human twice I'm already looking forward to the sequel
exspect too see it in 2020 :)
i finished the game 3x already (with the Berseker, BioEngineer, Commando, and now started it with the Defender) and i am also looking forward to the sequel, because the ending cutscene was really something (Shadow of the Colossus style). And before you people disagree with me, i am a PS3 fan, but i like Diablo/FF style looting gameplay so therefor i enjoyed this game (tho for the amount of bugs in it i would kill some testers/programmers for sure).
@ agentace Yep, maybe Home will be released by then too. Edit: OMG, AllroundGamer had something nice to say about a 360 game. Edit 2: @ name I stand by my previous comment. Some may consider me a fanboy and I'm cool with it, but they will never be able to say that I considered selling my PS3 or 360 because a certain title went mutiplatform. http://n4g.com/up/13764/Blo...
What was that you said about me being a fanboy?
At AllroundGamer. I'm sorry, but this game (or any for that matter) should not and can not be compared to Shadow of the Colossus. I wont hit the disagree button, but SoTC is incomparable to anything out there but maybe ICO.
i meant only the cutscene, but i won't go into details, because i don't want to spoil the ending to anybody. Edit: btw the one disagree isn't from me, so i pressed agree just for the balance ;)
Isn't that kind of an insult to be known as a rental? It's like a girl telling you "I don't want to date you, I only want to be friends". August NPD will be very interesting.
Like you said, August NPD's will be interesting. It all depends on how many units the game has shipped/sold.
when its cheaper
We all love eachother, thats why we visit N4G everyday. It is because we enjoy having our little arguments together, I have been visiting this website a lot, and always check the comments section to see if others have the same view as mine. We 'fanboys' love other 'fanboys' even though we insult eachother. I know for sure everyone has the following people on their love list: TheMart Breakfast PowerOfGreen Nasim and many others! Increase the love people.. Increaseee! Let me be on your list haha :P
Let's be honest whatever the sales are or will be , MS would claim they are happy about it . it's simple PR .. nintendo or SOny would do the same anyway for any of their 1st party title heavily criticized . Rentals means nothing , so lets wait . One could even take it as a sign some people didnt want to buy the game and are very cautious about it .
140k and their pleased? >_>;;
too human sale will own haters
i got this game and it's not as bad as ppl make it seem. i think that whole 10 year thing is whats killing it. but whatever you ppl can hate on it all you want. off to try to get to level 30
pleased with rentals? They are easily pleased as long as numbers look high ;\ Remember the days they were pleased with record breaking sales of people BUYING games. now it's come to RENTALS.
what's really funny are those articles that popped up some time ago saying too human had a million pre-orders and that the number was growing. where are those now? in dyack's closet?
They must be. After playing the demo, this fell off my buy and rental list. I guess I just don't get it.
its a fun game. especially co-op
i rented it yesterday and it's kind of fun but just as a rental. Co-op is really fun but the game as a whole is really dated (graphics-wise/gameplay-wise) Too repetitive. But like i said, for a rental, it has it share of fun plus i get to boost my gamerscore a little bit more :)
10 years and all it's managed to do is top rental charts???? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA still.. will probably make a mil lifetime
u do know the rentors had to buy the game so they can rent it out? so the copys been rented the more copys the rentors will go buy
so? how many copies is that? like 100 to last them forever? lol, what a commercial success you've spotted there you near-illiterate numbskull
I played the demo and at first I was meh, and then it started getting mixed reviews, so i decided to buy it on day 1 and make up my own mind, and I really like it, its certainly not a AAA title but its not a crap game at all like some reviews make it out to be. not finished it yet but from i've played so far i'd say its a 7.5 out of 10.
So they rent to check it out. It will be interesting to see if that converts to sales or if it bombs. This game has gotten a lot of negative press, but it could turn if many people like it...
I liked the demo enough to buy the game. Don't regret it at all, the co-op is supa fun. Hopefully the game receives decent sales.
i think haze sold more than to human its first week.
@ silverchode Yep, will was still ten times as much as Lair.
"I think haze sold more than to human its first week." Wrong. Haze sold 91,000 in it's first week, 22,000 in week two and it has been downhill ever since. Despite having some of the absolute worst press a game could have running up to it's release, Too Human still managed to sell 135,000 copies in America alone.
HAHAHA Too Human tops RENTAL charts. Not something to brag about Xbots.
...Oh wow, a rental?
What about those of us who hate terrible trash like TH and don't want to see it on our shelves? Well, there's more hope for us, because for 10 years, only <100k sales isn't enough to make a profit.
