Sony shared the latest on the PlayStation VR with several titles, including a look at Final Fantasy XV: VR Experience, where you’ll get to go through a VR experience from the perspective of Prompto.

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

Vr was the thing for sonys conference I think square Enix just wanted to be apart of it. It definitely seemed tacked on but at least it won't hurt the game.
