" Can Ninty add MotionPlus to the nunchuck as well? They wont, or haven’t mentioned it at least, but of course, anything can happen until the release of the MotionPlus peripheral next year. " Thats what I'm wondering. From what i understand is that the Gyroscopes in combination with the ACC in the Wii-mote can return values of movements. So still wondering if the same is done with the Nunchuck.
I hope it fixes the nunchuk. It has the worst, most piss-poor motion sensing ever.
I can see it now... "Introducing our newest peripheral, the Wii MotionPlus addon! Now on sale for $15! Next year... "Introducing our latest addon, the MotionPlus Nunchuk! This is a completely new Nunchuk that was redesigned to utilize MotionPlus! Now on sale for $30! Following 4 months... "Wish your MotionPlus Chuk was wireless? Now introducing the Wireless MotionPlus Nunchuk! Now on sale for $35!" Please don't disappoint me Nintendo. I already bought 3 of your bongos a few years back and sorely regretted that soon later... I don't want to cough up this much just for awesome 1:1 control.
I think the motion plus was a great idea!
well the wii remote sends information to nunchuck so its possible that just having the nunchuck connected to the motion plus could in turn increase its performance.
Is it not the other way around? I mean The Wii-mote is the transmitter of data. Would it not be more logical that he Nunchuck would provide data for the Wii-mote to sent it to the Wii? ...I really hope Nunchuck will have a 1:1 because then i can't wait for a boxing game =(.
But that is not proper English right there. 'Does Problems'?
Grammar cop high 5 ! XD
I would add that the poor grammar is not proper english, either. Thankfully, you only need to read the headline to get the picture.
Does problems arise with no grammar on N4G?
I can know. Some time when this must happen. There are a issue.
well i know the nunchuck has a 3 axis accelerometer in it .....im thinking(more hoping)that when connected to the bottom of the motion plus it will enhance its accuracy.
The motion plus attachment will have no effect on the nunchuck. There is no way I could. M+ is designed to become apart of the wiimote. it fits securely to connector port of the wiimote, extends the wiimote a few inches as it houses the gyros needed for the tech, then sports a new connector port in an attempt to hide it's presence. Because it's now one with the wiimote, when it moves M+ moves therefore creating the necessary feedback needed for 1:1. The nunchuck is simply plugged into it. Still independent and still reliant upon it's on tech. I'm sorry people the nunchuck will live life unchanged by nintendo. Your next best thing lies in NYKO's wireless version.
Guess you are right... It's shame though.
@sidar it's not a shame I would not want the nun-chuck to the 1:1. The nun-chuck being 1:1 would be like using two sword with a change handcuffing each hand. If you ever notice most people and not use those cool three nun-chuck(i forget the name) weapons that well because of this. I would opt for two Wii motes and double sword action. Yet a wireless nun-chuck would be a must for lots of heavy motions. So hope fully motion+ has a wireless receiver for a wireless nun-chuck attachment. You could convert the Wii nun chuck into a wireless one with such a kit. But I don't think most games will use the wide swinging action of the motion+ and if they do they will have to use a dual Wii mote set up meaning online multiplayer would be a must.
Now there's an article that talks about it! Well I'll just wait and see about what Nintendo will do. Right now they're on my last chipping block before I completely sell my Wii.
1:1 should have been in both the wiimote and nunchuck from the beginning and they should have both been wireless. Nintendo just scammed us all into believing they were trying something different.
HD consoles should not cost us so much money when we can get HDD with 500 gigs for almost $100. It crazy nintendo could have charged you for making huge Wiimotes that had those gyros in them from the beginning like you know how sony charged for blu-ray. O0o0o0o0o the lasers are expensive to make that's why it cost so much o0o0o0o0o0o aaaaahhhhhhhh cell is so powerful o0o0o0o0o0o0o, this only works on kids and people that think like them. Those controllers would have cost you at least $300 a peace on the peace side. Making gyros smaller is way harder than making blu ray diodes. I mean they've been making them for a while now no real price drop in sight huh? From day one the motion+ will be affordable. Nintendo brings out the solution to the gyro stuff and it seems like it's going to be affordable and have a tangible experiencing cause and effect reason that makes games better for people to play and it's going to be affordable. 1:1 motion and it's not crazy expensive WOW? That's VR like... Seriously I don't think nintendo is silly enough to sell you a $100 controller as a standard. Yet you get the option to make it as expensive as you want. If you want this attachment then get it. This is not crack you don't have to buy it because you are addicted. You have a choice and they are not forcing it on you like blu ray. It's pretty smart business to me. The Wiimotes are not cheap yet a 1:1 wiimote costing close to what the system cost would have been silly and almost useless like the gyros of the sixaxis. You get added cost for what? The same can be said to all those guys who have 5 blu ray movies, added cost for what? If people don't want it then cool it will be the next N64DD drive or some thing. I'm not saying you are a fan of any of the other consoles but you can see why added cost just to get things out there will cause it to fail. I mean the xbox 360 was rush to market every one paid a premium for it and got RRods. The PS3 was rushed out before the lasers could be made in an affordable fashion now PS3 owners are stuck with an inflated price. Every One know SONY does not do price cuts. I mean the PS2 is still $129!
