The evidence is certainly mounting that Rockstar's other major IP will make a splash at the event says Red Bull Games Australia.
"But wait, we have more. A map leaked a month ago claiming to be the new Red Dead Redemption 2 stomping ground which features an expanded expanse of the North East of the original game’s map featuring Great Planes and the township of Blackwater where you spend a lot of the tail end of the original game. Rockstar has not commented on the map, so there’s no telling if it’s legit, but there is a lot of detail here. It’s also been suggested that the game will be a prequel to the original, likely following the exploits of James Marsden during his outlaw years, focusing more heavily on the lawless side of the West, rather than the turn-of-the-Century foundation of Red Dead Redemption. Interestingly, one of the locations on the leaked map is marked as New Bordeaux, which is actually the fictional town the forthcoming Mafia III is set in. Mafia III is a Take-Two property along with Red Dead Redemption. Oh how the plot thickens."
As part of its plans to cut 1,900 jobs, Microsoft has reportedly shut down operations at Bethesda France, letting go roughly 15 people
Bethesda France was made up of roughly 15 people... they couldn't of being doing much
Bethesda France mainly did publishing and marketing within the region
Bethesda France focused on publishing and marketing in the region. And 15 people lost their jobs as part of the closure.
I wonder if this is part of Microsoft's strategy to abandoned physical media or possibly gamepass advertising makes their roles redundant you don't need to market a game as hard when the majority of players get the game as part of a sub which already promoted upcoming games
Tbh Microsoft I think Bethesda being 3rd party same with Activision would probably more competitive than thus scenario imo
The recently purchased Activision French offices might take over all the licensing and marketing for Microsoft in France from now on.
Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."
Sony has recently published a new patent that wants to dynamically handle the games' difficulty and gameplay based on the player's emotions.
This is something I might use. Sometimes I play some good games but they don’t have difficulty option and are a little too easy.
cool idea
cool idea for horror games especially
the way it's explained here sounds like it could never be forced hopefully, so that's ok with me
It will for me , unless some other RPG surprises me. Cyberpunk 2077 has my interest and Sony may have a surprise, but Red Dead at this point would take the cake.
Rockstar doesn't do E3 though. They like to steal its thunder instead.
Red Dead will not be at E3 imo.
No, but Red Dead 3 might be.
