Games Fiend's Jo gets her hands on the fighting girls of Senran Kagura Estival in this very "hands-on" review of the PS4 title.
A female reviewer and a low score? Much surprise.
Do you actually believe the things you write? I checked out some of your other comments dude. How does the writers gender have anything to do with determining final score?! What is your point exactly? Is your argument that girls review games badly because they're... female?! Are you just saying things to be inflammatory? Because I think you're just saying things to be inflammatory. Fascinating. Anyway, back on topic. It doesn't sound like a great game. All the negative points in the article seem justified.
You ask how the writer's gender has anything to do with determining the final score? Are you mentally handicapped, good sir? Are you without common sense? "If you like your fighting games to be replete with bouncing breasts and clothes that tear at the drop of a hat, then Senran Kagura Estival Versus is definitely for you." RIGHT off the bat it subtly bitches about tits. How do you THINK her gender affected the review? Hell, you can tell by the chosen picture for this very article that the focus was on the sexual aspects mainly rather than ANY of the rest. Why wasn't it a picture of the box art? Or a clothed character? Or some fodder enemies, or a male character, or literally anything but what was chosen? Sheer chance? Right. "There are naked transformation scenes, generous chest assets and torn clothes aplenty, but is there more to the game than just fanservice?" It goes into this with the assumption that there's not much more to the game than fanservice, that's no way to review. What kind of question is this? Do we go into Call of Duty asking if there's more to the game than senseless murder? Maybe some SJW site does, I don't know, I only read legit reviews and none start with such negativity. Think what you want pal.
@KentBenMei Woah! Revelation! It never clicked. It must be my mental handicap. It forces me to react to things beyond face value, and consider the possibility that the reviewer just didn't like the game. What a shame. For people like me. Oh well. Also, side note: "bouncing breasts and clothes that tear at the drop of a hat"... I'm sure there are plenty of girls who like that sort of thing. *gasp*! What?! How could they? Only men like that. Girls don't, so they write bad reviews. Consider for just a moment that the reviewer just isn't into that sort of thing. Second side note: "There are naked transformation scenes, generous chest assets and torn clothes aplenty, but is there more to the game than just fanservice?"... She's gender bias because she wanted more substance from a video game? See what I did there? I considered an alternative viewpoint. You should try it, instead of reacting to things at face value. Mental handicap! Exit! Stage left!
I know JTGA and I can confirm he is mentally handicapped because he believes women can write balanced reviews.
