With FromSoftware moving on to a brand new IP, will it possible for another developer to pick up where Miyazaki leaves off?
TheGamer writes, "Some weapons resist the test of time."
The Nerd Stash: “Whether you’re here to gloat about your victories or to see what the fuss is about, we present to you the hardest bosses in the Souls series.”
Dark Souls 3 is easily the most replayable game in the Dark Souls Series. But, is the game good enough to spend nearly 10 hours killing Silver Knights alone?
These games bore me to tears. I don’t mind the difficulty it’s just the constant killing the same enemies over every time you rest that makes it so monotonous
No.
It's a very different game imo, they share some similarities but the actual gameplay is very different. Fantastic game in its own right though. Looking forward to it.
There are 5 games worth of souls you can play.. There will never be a void of souls.
from Demons souls to Dark souls 3..
Nioh may be inspired by souls but it's a different gameplay mechanic, enough to carve its own identity.
I'll personally miss the atmosphere of the Souls games, but I also really enjoyed Salt and Sanctuary and the Nioh alpha demo. As long as devs do something original with the Souls formula, I'll embrace it. Just please don't over-saturate the market.
Both series cant hold a candle (at the very utterly least gameplay wise) to the Ninja Gaiden series. To the Souls players who think they are all about beating hard games, give this series a shot.
