GameXtract writes "If your a regular gamer like myself then I'm sure you've had the thought of being sucked into a video game where you control the player through body motions. No controllers, but just the simple use of the human body. A recent video was found on gametrailers where the Quake 3 arena was recreated for use in a virtual reality project. The player uses a headset to control head motion, and a motion responsive floor to walk (or float). While the floating is a bit awkward, and he does hold an object to represent the gun it is progress in the very direction many gamers are hoping for. Who knows, maybe in twenty years we will be literally thrown into a virtual world, and have to fend for ourselves. Video after the jump!"
