I'm currently looking for a 26" monitor... From reviews I'm not sure this is the ideal model though.

So any of the esteemed N4G readers have any recommendations for 26" screens?

Why are you looking for a 26" and not a big-screen?

Anyway, I recommend looking at Cnet reviews or going to your local library and checkout out Consumer Reports reviews.

I'm looking at 26"/27" mainly for space reasons. It's going to live on a desk in a smallish room and be viewed from a few feet - so anything bigger is just a bit too big! :)

I've been looking at the Dell 2709W (which reviews suggest has a bit of input lag) and doing plenty of research, but thought I'd ask for any hands-on opinions.

Pay a little more and get a Samsung 37A550. Much better display. Wall mount it and it won't be too big.

What a horrible "review." It's pretty much just pasted ad text from Viewsonic.
