In-Game Advertising Ethics

Thomcult: As developers and publishers look to new business models and ways for funding games in-game advertising is attracting a greater amount of interest and investment in both the console and PC space. If the predictions of Nvidia VP Roy Taylor are correct and free-to-play gaming is truly the way forward then advertising will almost surely play a huge role in its funding. Imagine what it looks like then, when Microsoft is forced to admit that it has been wilfully spying on consumers and collecting their data for the purposes of advertising.
