Hell, I didn't know it even existed until a friend heard about this remake and had to tell everyone how happy he was, whether they cared or not. I guess I was too busy playing Excitebike, Ghost n' Ghouls, and Mario to really give two shits back in the day. Hell, it could be that I was only seven when I owned an original NES (I really wouldn't consider that the age of a gamer in his/her prime). So it is with this week's release of Bionic Commando Rearmed on the Xbox 360 Arcade that I get my first crack at this "classic."
What is most appealing about this game is that it isn't just a port of the NES original. GRIN has gone in and retouched everything. The graphics have been given a three-dimensional overhaul, a physics engine has been implemented, and bosses have been completely redone to the point of no longer being cheap. No rock was left unturned when GRIN approached this project, delivering a highly polished final product."

I took advantage of the $1 deal for lost planet 3, strider, bionic commando and mega man. 3 of them run great on my steam deck. bionic commando sadly does not.
