I didn't read the article because I already know from the title that the guy who wrote this doesn't really know who Patcher really is.

When you can predict things less than 10 percent right, you're no one special. I been looking at comments for a long time and about 80 percent put in 300 to 400 as their numbers, I did, too. I guess according to illogical logic, we're all proffessional analysts, too.

It was common knowledge that it wouldn't be as advanced as the Oculus or HTC Vive, so it was only natural to assume that it would cost less than them.

Pretty easy to guess tbh. Most people guessed it would cost less than Vive and Rift but still more or equal to the price of a PS4. Between the cost of a new PS4 and Rift at $599, it was fairly predictable.

Oh please, most people were guessing $350-400, especially after Oculus' price reveal. By that standard, I guess they all should be called 'analysts'.

He also said it could be under $300 or as much as $1500, he's like a weather man who says it will be cloudy with a chance of rain or the clouds could break and we'll see sun, he covers all his bases so he improves his chances of being right,he isn't a genius he's a song and dance man and we need to stop giving this guy attention so he will hopefully go away.

In his exact quote you used, he said $400, however it is being released for $399 so he was actually wrong by $1 so therefore, he's wrong!
