EndWar PC likely for 2009

Speaking during an EndWar press demonstration given today at Games Convention 2008, Michael de Plater, UbiSoft Shanghai creative director, revealed that a PC version in 2009 is likely. This is despite the game having been designed to be an accessible and easily understandable RTS for consoles.

Asked whether Ubisoft is bringing EndWar to PC, de Plater responded: "... we're obviously looking at it. A good strategy game is a good strategy game."

While not coming out and confirming the PC version of EndWar, he did note that any such version of the game certainly wouldn't be coming out this year, but a 2009 release would be about right. (PC, PS3, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Xbox 360)
