Organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), the DICE Awards stands for "Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain". On their 19th year, we saw some interesting names as winners. Fallout 4 received awards for 'Game of the Year', 'Role Playing Game of the Year', and 'Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction'. Star Wars Battlefront was awarded for being 'Action Game of the Year'. Without going into any sort of outrage regarding the choices, I'd rather explore my concern regarding what these awards could mean. What is the message the AIAS is trying to convey?
Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, offering 60fps gameplay and 4K resolution. But it's bad news if you claimed the game on PS Plus.
Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.

This is a huge release being treated like a patch update but really it’s a monster in disguise…Bethesda being Bethesda, no actual release times or pre load available or file size info, sigh. All that said, clearing space on the SSD and putting the PS5 in rest mode while at work so I can play later, fully expecting snail download speeds as millions bang on their servers.
It just popped up on the UK PSN store as a native PS5 download of 56 gigs. I had the PS4 version installed in case it just patched that but it is it's own download.
Not sure if that download includes the DLC's though which I own, think it's just the base game. At the moment there's no separate PS5 DLC download options. But might just take a bit for it to be added.
Where do you find it? The PS4 version I have installed on my PS5 just updated but it doesn't include the next gen patch as you say, it only includes mods.
Yeah I had the PS4 version installed and it started downloading a 9 gig patch for that. But if you go to Fallout 4 in the store and click on the three dots next to the game you can pick the native PS5 version, which shows as free for me owning the PS4 version.
Actually I think when I went to the store I didn't have to select a version. It just said free PS5 upgrade where the price normally is.
All the DLC is now there with a PS5/PS4 tag as well. I had to "repurchase that" for free too as I own the PS4 versions.
My store has Fallout 4 ps4/5 version for e19,99... when I click that it says that I own another version and it goes to my ps4 version.
I didn't get Ps5 free upgrade. WTF?
Edit: My bad, you have to put that into your cart, and than it says it's free.

The games were just on a real sale over the last week or two for the show promotion. Fallout 4 was $10, 3 was $5, NV was cheap as heck too.

The original games have been given out for free by Amazon for GOG and Epic, 76 is free now on Amazon if you have prime, Epic has also given out new Vegas for free and 4 has gone down to pretty cheap prices. 194 bucks is a total ripoff when you can get these games individually for less. Don't forget cd keys might sell em for a dollar less at times too. Come on man, us cheapskates won't touch anything near or above 100 lolz
