Metal Gear Online Championship

August 19, 2008 - If you're good enough at Metal Gear Online, you might just earn yourself a free ride to Japan.

Konami and Major League Gaming announced today that registration is now open for the Metal Gear Online World Championship. Players can go to the official website to get in on the action and get playing. The top two teams from the North American Qualifier will head to the Tokyo Games Show for the finals against the best from Europe, Japan, and Korea/Greater Asia. Winners will get prizes and a slice of the $8,000 that's up for grabs.

The North American Qualifier ends Sept. 8, 2008, so get registered already. (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3)
