Every countdown leaves us divided, but these are the games we argue about more than any other, straight from the mouths of those who love and hate them.
"The Game Music Foundation are today very proud and pleased to announce an additional concert, circling back to the roots of Game Muisic Festival in Poland. Hey Poor Player's James Davie Takes Us On A Bio-Shocking Deep Dive Into Irrational Games' Nautical Nightmare.
Najam from eXputer writes "It's time fore a new installment in the series, not another pointless remaster."
They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
I'd say the big exclusives are generally the most divisive, but I also saw many arguments about how great or crappy Skyrim was.
There are way more people that love TLOU, Bioshock, and Borderlands 2 than hate. I wouldn't call that divise. Those games still hold up well
The Last of Us to be was one of the best games I ever played that made a lasting impression.
After you play the first 15 minutes you're hooked into an emotional roller coaster.
It's been several years since the games release an I pretty much remember every level and character in the game.
Other games I have played I would be hard pressed to remember any of the characters names or their story because I didn't care,I just played the game.
Never before have I played a game where I couldn't wait to find a piece of paper or recording with someone's story on it such as Ish's.
As far as game play there was plenty of puzzles to solve, using stealth to navigate was challenging on the harder modes, crafting was good, using guns and bows felt right and melee kills were excellent. When you punched someone it felt and sounded like a real punch.
As far as people moaning about dumb AI forget it,.. the enemy's AI was some of the best I have seen in a game. NaughtDog acknowledges there was a problem with the AI not seeing Ellie or Tess coming out of cover and the enemy ignoring them. They said gamers would have been more pissed every time an enemy spotted one of them and triggered a fight when you're trying to stealth your way through.I know I would have been. I think they did the right thing and besides it has only happened to me maybe 3 times in 4 playthroughs where my partner clearly walked out in front of an enemy and was ignored.
I could say the same thing about the AI in MGS.Here I am driving a Jeep up to a guard post at night with my headlights on I get to within 30 feet of them and no one sees or hears me I can crawl on the ground right beside the guy and he will shine a flashlight right at me but doesn't see me. I had a supressed sniper rifle and made a kill from 50m away from behind a rock and yet the AI can know EXACTLY where I am, I don't think so. AI is what is is and need improvement in all games so don't pick one game and say it sucks because of an AI issue.
The Last of Us was an excellent game and will go down in history as one of the best.
99% who played the Last of Us loved,I wouldn't call that divise, fanboys don't count
Most of these are probably the least divisive games I've ever heard of. The Last of Us? The most critically acclaimed game of all time that's near universally lauded? That's divisive? I was expecting games like Gone Home or Deadly Premonition.
