With new value packs and the addition of the HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360, coupled with the sheer enjoyment of the Wii experience, it may be that the PlayStation 3 will find it difficult to settle into a market niche.
blablablablablablabla, come to the point man, ''If anybody can emerge on top, it is Sony.'' there you go, thank you for being smart.
Bite off your nose to spite your face !!!
The Wii is funner to play than 360. But at the end of the day, it's all about Xbox Live.
My computer can do anything an Xbox can.
My PC has two NVIDIA 6800 Ultra's in SLI mode with 2 gigs Ram and AMD FX-55 processor yet it still can't hang with my 360. $$$$
Tell me, which would you rather play???
your PC is inferior. i bet you can't even run Doom3.
Nice tv! I just purchased the Samsung LN-S4695D TV and I have to say it absolutly kicks ass playing 360 and watching HD-DVD movies. And I have top agree with you, i would rather be playing on my 46" 1080p tv rather than my 19" computer rig.
That's the point. I spent over $3000 on my PC only 1-1/2 years ago and it was top of the line back then. A little less than 6 months later, the superior 360 comes out and I only spent $399. How much are you willing to spend on a PC today just to have it be "inferior" 1 year from now?? BTW it plays doom 3 easily. Counter Strike Source stress test results to 156 Frames Per Second average. Yet F.E.A.R. looks and runs much smoother on 360 when I try to match 4XFSAA on my PC. It hobbles along like the PS3. Isn't RSX supposed to be equivalent to my PC GPU's?
are actually more powerful than the GPU in the PS3. The PS3 GPU is actually slightly slower than a single 7800 GT class GPU.
the things is console games are made with a DEV-kit that is meant for the console...while PC games are made with PC's (and equal) but its made for specs not evry owner have..Console gaming is way better just insert disc and play!
bow before the "MIGHT" of my 2.80ghz celeron, 80gb, 512mb, generic video card E- machine PC MUHAHAHAHAHA!
That's a damn fine TV you have there. Excellent choice! I was going to buy that one as well. It's only $500 more than my 40" and now I regret it. These are one of those moments where I could kick myself in the ass. But gawd damn those Samsung LCD's are nice.
That kid see's Wii60 and Instantly clicks lame, Wii60 is like Kryptonite to Fony fanboys!
I love my Wii it's a blast and Zelda rules all. but when it comes to playn' multi platform games Like Call of Duty 3 etc. between the two, the choice is defenitly my 360. Hi-Def graphics and 5.1 digital you can't go wrong
Bought the Sony SXRD 60" XBR2 since I was told by the sales man and the manual that it accepted 1920x1080 over VGA .... here is a shock ... SONY WAS FULL OF SH!T. The set did not. So back to the store it went with a few choice words for the sales guy and a nice long letter to Sony.
Hmmm, so now what should I buy I wonder that does EVERYTHING I want it to for almost $1500 less than the SONY sticker ....
Here is my 67" HL-S6767 1080P DLP set
1080p over VGA, and both component. Plus the two HDMI ports.
Ignore the shorts ... it was late, I was tired and very drunk !!!
Wall unit looks better now with my Gear all in it and my HD-DVD drive
Super Bowl party at Mikey's house!!!!
Color is set for TV, not surroundings:

Hey, what's your Gamertag? We'll sip down a few brewskies and hit it up on Xlive sometime. This is my last post bubble so if you get a chance, add me.. Gamertag: Xtrm L1481L1TY
Goddam oblivion takes a long time to load on the 360.
no sh!t it takes a while to load, it's friggin' huge what do you expect. how long do you think it will take on ps3 with a half-speed disc drive? and yes, it does cache to the hd on equipped 360's, so that's not a valid argument.
on topic though, wii60 is the way to go. altogether not much more than a 60gig ps3, and you get everything ps3 has (only better), plus a wii ;)
It's huge compared to the PC was what i was implying.
The trick to completing the game is not to level up ;)
