Wired writes: "Hear about Fable 2? The role playing game is one where the decisions your character makes in the game influence the plot and environment, all the way down to how the artificial characters interact with your character. You know, kinda like in real life.
One of those choices is gambling. True to any RPG, the pub is the place where adventurers meet other characters and embark on quests together. In Fable and Fable 2, it's where you can flirt with ladies, drink heavily (and eventually even throw-up) and gamble with the local card dealers. You know, kinda like in real life.
Microsoft and Lionhead studios, the producers and developers behind the blockbuster game, released the gambling sub-games to XBox Live arcade as a lead-up to the release of Fable 2 in October. The pub games are the same as your character or hero will find in the in-game pubs. Playing them on XBox Live will give you a head start on the learning curve, but Lionhead Studios have added a twist. Whatever gold you win or lose will merge with the gold your character starts with in the final release."
