The Entertainment Software Rating Board has rated PS2 titles Wild Arms 3, Siren, Primal, Okage: Shadow King, and Ape Escape 3 for PlayStation 4.

The games likely make up the next batch of PS2 emulated titles to come to PlayStation 4. None of the titles have yet been officially announced for release.

I never got a chance to play Wild ARMs so I need it in my life.

callahan093045d ago

Wild Arms games are awesome! Although the first 2 on PSone are the best.

I never got to play Primal all the way through (I rented it once, it was cool), so I think I'll finally play that!

Tripl3seis3046d ago

I keep hearing good things about wild arms I'm gonna have to check it out.

Primal is a game you guys must play. It's one of the most underrated games on the PS2.

Bought Wild Arms1&2 during a recent flash sale for 99 cents each. Havent played them yet, so now i can rebuy all 3 on ps4 with better graphics and trophy support. Never played the series before so rebuying them for possibly $15 each isnt a bad thing at all.
Most people complain about the prices of these games but fail to think that they are more so for the people that never played them before. Not for people that owned the game on PS1, PS2 and PS3. Its only you to blame for rebuying the same games over and over and over. Stop selling your last generation consoles and games, save up the money. Most times consoles manufactures inform the public that they have a new console coming out in a few months to a year. Start saving from then and keep your old systems and games if you dont want to rebuy games. Besides you dont have to re-buy every game you use to own, just your favorites.

Agreed Abnor_Mal....first off, $10/$15 is not bad at all, look at the trash people are spending $60 on now. Second, people aren't forced to buy them. Third, if the complaint is that you own the game and don't want to buy it again, don't...fire up your ps2 and play it that way. I'm convinced that the majority of people complaining about this ps2/ps4 thing are Xbox folks that are just trying to stir the pot. And before anybody asks, I owned many of these games before and have purchased/plan on purchasing them again...why? Well because I respect what developers do. If they deserve it, I give them money for a product, if they don't then I don't, it's simple really.

PS Plus Premium includes one of the best PS2 games in its line-up

The all new PS Plus is here and it has an absolute gem of horror game waiting for you.

PS Plus now offers three membership tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The latter comes with all the perks you could ask for, and is the priciest of the bunch. One of these benefits is cloud streaming access to a whole horde of OG PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PSP games.

Nestled amongst the PS2 titles is Siren. Or Forbidden Siren, depending on which region you're in. Released in 2003, some of you will definitely have slept on this one. Because you were either napping in a crib somewhere, or lining up at the spermatozoa starting line. But now's your chance to catch up with the rest of us, for less than $20 a month.

Well it was on PS Now for a long time, so were a lot of games. Looks good though.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH665d ago

Personally I didn’t like it all that much. Not a bad game just wasn’t for me.

Bathory666665d ago

I’m with you there. It was borderline unplayable due to the controls. Try the remake. It fixes everything about the original thank god.

100%
Siren is the type of game I desperately want to enjoy - the gameplay just isn't fun, the game isn't scary, and the puzzles aren't challenging in a cool Silent Hill way, they're just esoteric as hell. I think the idea behind it is ingenious, it just needs better hardware to get off the ground.

monkey602665d ago

Me either. Siren is my kind of game and I bought Blood Curse when it came out on PS3. I absolutely hated it.
I managed to sell it for a nice price when it became rare and some started to see it as a collectors item though.

Duke19665d ago

"One of the best PS2 games"..? I don't even recall this one, but if it has similarities to Silent Hill I'd definitely check it out

ocelot07665d ago

It was very good and had a silent hill feeling to it. Did you never play Siren Blood Curse on the PS3?

Duke19665d ago

No - another one I completely missed although googling it now and it definitely looks pretty cool

Vanfernal664d ago

It's no coincidence. The director of Siren is the director of the first Silent Hill

jznrpg665d ago

I own it . Good game for sure

cooperdnizzle665d ago (Edited 665d ago )

The chick that wrote this article got a bunch of things wrong. And yeah both games have been on ps now for sometime.

Not to mention the countless other things she gets wrong. Kind of a weird read.

Played both games and think they are okay at best .

Bathory666665d ago

I agree. The ps2 game was mediocre. The remake though, outstanding.
